Didn't say you didn't say Mike. My question centers on 'if could have been original' then I'm comfortable, if replacements, also understood. My Gibson TU-2 has replacements, along with the originals...

Spats having had them on one of his trumps my never having seen. If the right era, could certainly be OE. Normally, when you pull one during a string change, you know. The probable reason that you...

I did contact the guy and we are in a 'wait and see' mode. There are more pics on the Craig's list ad and one does show the stamp in the sound hole. Can be seen on Akron Ohio Craigslist. Cheers, R

Ok. The Tulips we have seen. The knobs in the OP are the ones I had on my Regal and Harmony. Were they made by Kluson, Maccaferi or???? I have no idea. Actually, Maccaferi is about the best guess I...

I'd have to double-check but I think this may be a Lifton. A lot of '60s ukes came in one. I am certain that it is original to my 0. It's a short, dense velvet plush and not felt like on many older...

Is he still claiming it was made in the 1950s? The correct 1960s tuners are still being made by Grover. They're no longer made in the USA and the knob color is a slightly different shade of off-white...
