Seller says 50's Style 'O'.....

Are these tuners correct for a 50's Style O?  Page 129 in "The Book"  shows Kluson no. 566 pegs fairly close but not quite.  Harmony?Cheers,R

Hmmm... I didn't say they aren't original, just that I have never seen them on a Martin. My Harmony had them as well as a broken Regal bari now that I recall. The "blond" mahogany and case remind me...

I did contact the guy and we are in a 'wait and see' mode. There are more pics on the Craig's list ad and one does show the stamp in the sound hole. Can be seen on Akron Ohio Craigslist. Cheers, R

I'd have to double-check but I think this may be a Lifton. A lot of '60s ukes came in one. I am certain that it is original to my 0. It's a short, dense velvet plush and not felt like on many older...

Is he still claiming it was made in the 1950s? The correct 1960s tuners are still being made by Grover. They're no longer made in the USA and the knob color is a slightly different shade of off-white...
